I'm writing this while playing a very different type of game on Vassal today. Lots of spectators, so I explain that I'm new to the game at the beginning and still learning the rules. My opponent is good about it and helps me out. My problem however lies with all the spectators ...

My local gaming group will have a tournament at the end of april and the Steamroller rule set will be used. I’m going to tell you some of my thoughts about the round time limit, as I ran into big problems with it playing eButcher this week.

We had a relaxing day of gaming today and the first order of business was a game of Warmachine against that wiley Master of Menoth, the incomparable Kenoth of Menoth. I was using a jack-heavy force while Ken primarily ran warjacks backed-up by a maximum unit of TFG, a choir, and a couple of solos. We ...

If you've been reading this blog ...

I finally finished painting up Dirty Meg(Mercenary Solo/Jack Marshall) and a Mule(Mercenary Heavy Warjack). To me Dirty Meg is a great bargain. For two points you get not just a mechanic, but a merc Jack Marhsall that can bring friends to the party such as a Mule, Mariner, Nomad or any number of merc 'jacks! I ...
These things happen in any game, and we notice them especially in the ones we love the most. Somewhere in between the fluff and the rules (and the case of a miniatures game, the model sculpts) things happen that just don't make sense. Just look at the Nomad in Mk I as an example. Every ...
