I learned some time ago that staying up all night sucks. Trying to do it willingly is just a bad idea. Figuring out what to do when you are suffering from a nasty case of insomnia sucks just as bad, but for different reasons. So, here I sit in my favorite chair at 6:30 ...
When Forces of Warmachine: Khador was released I was able to see what the epic Butcher Theme Force had to offer. I was not disappointed. The only unit he was allowed in the Theme Force is the Doom Reavers and they became FA:U as did their attachment the Greylord Escort.
Some time ago, when the Retribution ...
Last night I worked on Terminus’ base. It is a heavy, bulky chunk of metal, but it holds him down nicely due to his wing position, a metal base was necessary, as I discussed in a previous entry.

After completing the Deathclaw, I really liked the look enough to spur me on with the conversion. I am waiting for a part from Tim to continue his Nomad conversion (another post in progress), so that cleared the way to keep working on my Malice conversion.

Man, I have had a difficult time with Cryx. They are subtle but vicious. I just haven’t found my groove yet. So, I have decided that I should probably take a new approach at it. Coming from Khador and the Pirate subgroup of Mercs, I am used to a very melee approach in the game. ...
How could I have misjudged the difficulty of this model’s assembly, I will never really know. It has lived up the to Pain in the Ass title I gave it in the last entry. In the days that have past, I have attached the head and one arm. Day three, whenever that happens, will focus ...
I picked up Snapjaw and Wrong Eye as my prize for winning a Warmachine/Hordes (a different, upcoming blog entry). As a Khador player, I was very familiar with the “Khador Gap”, but I was a bit unprepared for the amount of greenstuff work that Snapjaw needs.
It will take me two days to get him assembled ...
