Edit 2/3/2010: Paint test redo.

After discussing it with the Client. I changed the color of the pants/boots. The original color was a Khaki and was a shade too close to the skin tones. So I painted them up to look like dirty black leather knee-high boots.

I used the Reaper Master Series Dark Elf Triad with some light washes of Games Workshop Badab Black and Devlan Mud.

Hello,

I have finished up a Paint Scheme Test Piece for the Satyxis Raiders.

This was done with Reaper Master Series Paints and Games Workshop Washes.

Reaper Master Series Paints: Dark Elf Triad, Pure Black, Linen White, Warm Deep Brown Triad, Bone Triad, Aged Pewter, Old Bronze, Blackened Steel, Honed Steel, Polished Silver, Muted Purple Triad, and Terran Khaki Triad.

Games Workshop Washes: Badab Black, Devlan Mud, Ogrun Flesh, Thraka Green, and Gryphonne Sepia.

I will say it again that Reaper Master Series paints and Games Workshop washes are great for speed painting.

Now I am just waiting for confirmation from the Client for this scheme. Then I can work on the rest of the unit.

Stay Tuned,

Kerry
