I am pretty proud of most of my paint jobs. However, I am here to tell you, sometimes they don’t turn out like one might hope.

Evidence of this are two models that will forever be known as the Curse of Ass (Blessing of Vengence) and Hierarch Severi-ass.

Yup, that’s them swimming in a vat of every one’s favorite paint stripper Simple Green. I got the stripping recipe from Shaun. It’s a 50 / 50 mix of Simple Green and water. Shaun tells me it should only need to soak for 3 -4 hours. Stripping these two models took 3 -4 days. After every 12 hours or so I would take a tooth brush and run them under hot water and scrub the daylights out of them…

Thus causing both arms to fall off the BoV. Awesome.

So…tonight I finished the process, and the BoV once again shines in pewter glory, and the new head of the church of Menoth shines brightly…except for areas I couldn’t reach but they have this cool black shading now. Nice.

Tomorrow I put out Amon and his bucket of crap-jacks (no relation to the scrap jacks) and a 350 list that would make the Lockers dance group proud.

Dallas and Brian…Menoth has not been amused with you lately…time to burn.
